Hello, I’m Kara, a full-time Professional Pet and House Sitter based in Las Vegas, NV. With 20 years of experience, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide array of pets in various situations. I am licensed, insured, bonded, and certified in both first aid and CPR to ensure the utmost safety for your beloved animals.
My primary goal is to provide exceptional care for your pets. I understand that pets are family, and I cherish mine as such. With me, you can rest assured that your furry babies will receive the same love and attention that you give them. My dependability, trustworthiness, and caring nature give you the peace of mind you need while you’re away from your fur babies.
How it began
As a child, I was always eager to help out, whether it was babysitting or pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. My sister and I were so enthusiastic about it that we even made flyers to spread the word—something I still have as a reminder of those early days! As I grew older, I transitioned into retail and customer service, where I gained valuable experience interacting with people and honing my communication skills. However, my love for animals never faded.
When I joined Rover in June of 2014, I was excited to pursue my passion for pet sitting on a larger scale. I had big dreams of eventually doing it full-time, and within just a few months, I was able to make pet sitting my main focus. Looking back, I’m so grateful that I took that leap. It’s been incredibly rewarding to turn my love for animals into a career, and I’m so thankful for all the wonderful pets and families I’ve had the privilege of working with along the way. Every day, I get to do what I love, and that’s something I’ll never take for granted!
